Putting residents first

Jean is running to improve representation on the council, hear directly from District D residents, and make local government more accessible, transparent, and accountable.

Harford's schools

Strong public schools, fair support for educators, and more skills and trades pathways help young people build affordable futures here in Harford County.

Smart growth and open space

Jean supports smart growth where infrastructure already exists, protecting Harford's farms, forests, trails, and open spaces while encouraging responsible redevelopment.

Jobs, housing, and planning

Working with APG, Harford Community College, local businesses, and housing partners can strengthen workforce training, attract sustainable jobs, and expand affordable housing options.

About Jean

Why Jean is running.

"I want to improve representation on the council, hear from residents in District D about what is important to them, and help create a better future through better planning for our county."

Jean Salvatore

Jean has lived in Harford County since 1981. As a Department of Defense civil servant, she began as an intern technical specialist, led logistics teams, served as a division chief, and retired after serving as a logistics director. That work taught ethics, teamwork, and steady public service.

Her community work includes service as president of Shadow Cats TNR, membership in Harford Land Trust, and a commitment to preserving open green spaces. Jean has also set aside a small Harford parcel under forest stewardship as part of that commitment.
